The Crazy Tube Circuits Falcon is an all-analog overdrive and amp-in-a-box pedal designed to capture the exact sound, dynamic feel, and compression of classic '50s and '60s Fender amplifiers. Utilizing JFET technology, the pedal painstakingly recreates the behavior of the preamp, phase inverter, and power amp stages found in two iconic amps: the '55 5E3 Tweed Deluxe and the '61 6G2 Brownface Princeton.

Whether you are looking for a sparkling clean boost, an edge-of-breakup crunch, or a fully saturated, harmonically rich overdrive, the Falcon is engineered to respond just like a real tube amp. A major element of its design is the emulation of the natural sag and compression created by the original tube rectifiers and power sections. This makes the pedal highly sensitive to your picking attack and allows it to clean up beautifully when you roll back your guitar's volume knob.

A simple toggle switch lets you jump seamlessly between the two eras. The '55 Tweed mode offers a raw, exploding low-end with heavy sag perfect for Neil Young-style distortion, while the '61 Brownface mode tightens up the low frequencies and offers a slightly smoother, more focused drive.
